The REDDCRYPT mobile app is available for iOS and Android. The apps can be installed on both smartphones and tablets.

Registration / Login

After installing and starting the app, you can choose whether you want to create a new REDDCRYPT account or add an existing account.

Add new account

Enter the email address for which you want to configure REDDCRYPT.

A registration pin for verifying the address will be sent to the email address you entered. Enter this PIN in the setup window.

Define your personal password.

Use existing account

Enter both the email address and the password configured for REDDCRYPT and click on “OK”.

Operation

• You can use the icon in the top left-hand corner (the 3 bars) to change the actively selected account in the “Accounts” area
• Incoming and outgoing mail is displayed in the mailbox overview for the actively selected account.
• Sent mails are sent with the selected account as the sender
• You can access the account management via the Settings -> Accounts area

Mailbox overview

The received/sent emails of the selected account are displayed here in the inbox/outbox. If an email is selected, further options are offered via the options icon (top right):

New email

• Write a new encrypted e-mail (via the email icon)
• The recipient field checks whether the recipient already has a REDDCRYPT account
• If the recipient already has a REDDCRYPT account, the email address is highlighted in green:

If the recipient does not have a REDDCRYPT account, the email address is highlighted in yellow.

After clicking on Send, select a password for the encryption and communicate this to the recipient (e.g. via telephone):

Account management

You can add new accounts in the account management.

You can either create a new account or add an existing account.

You can also delete an account selected and clicked on in the account management.
