Even if you have a paid account and use email encryption via the REDDCRYPT Outlook plugin, for example, your communication partner does not need a paid account. Your communication partner can continue to use the free web app and write to anyone, not just you.
If the recipient is not yet a REDDCRYPT user, you can still send them an encrypted email – a huge advantage over traditional solutions such as S/MIME or PGP.
In this case, when sending the email to this recipient, you define a password with which the recipient can decrypt this email.
Of course, this email can also be answered immediately – without registration!
If the recipient regularly receives emails or not only wants to reply to your emails but also write new emails, they can create a free account at any time.
From that moment on, a password is no longer required for encrypted sending.
